This is a complete U.S. Military-issue Outer Tactical Vest (OTV) system from the Interceptor Body Armor (IBA) series, manufactured by Specialty Defense Systems (SDS). This vest includes original soft armor ballistic panels (front, back, and sides) manufactured by Point Blank Body Armor Inc., dated 2005. Finished in classic 3-color desert camouflage, this setup was standard issue for U.S. troops during the Iraq War and early phases of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Designed for modular protection, the vest includes MOLLE webbing for attaching pouches and gear, and is fully adjustable at the shoulders and waist for a secure fit. Soft armor provides protection against 9mm and fragmentation threats, while the vest is compatible with SAPI plates (not included) for rifle-rated coverage.
