Original East German NVA field shirt/jacket in classic Strichtarn “rain pattern” camouflage. This Cold War-era DDR surplus top has a greener tone than some later/faded examples and features the distinct vertical dash camouflage pattern, full button front, fold-down collar, shoulder epaulets, chest pocket, lower front pockets, and rear cargo-style pocket.
 
Interior markings are still visible, including a 1965 date stamp, making this a nice earlier Cold War NVA surplus piece. Sleeves measure shorter than expected, so please check the listed measurements for fit. Shows normal surplus wear from age and use, including fading, wrinkling, loose threads, and light staining/wear.
