The Romanian M74 Gas Mask is a Cold War–era military protective mask originally issued to Romanian forces. Designed for durability and mass issue, the M74 is constructed from chemically resistant neoprene rubber and features a simple, rugged layout typical of Eastern Bloc protective equipment.
 
This mask utilizes rubber head straps secured with plastic buckles, providing a secure fit over a wide range of head sizes. The twin eyepieces are made from thick plastic lenses, offering impact resistance and a wide field of view. Included with the mask is an original filter and an original Romanian vinyl carry satchel with an adjustable shoulder strap for transport and storage.
 
These gas masks are previously issued surplus and remain in good overall condition. Some examples may show signs of service wear. All such wear is consistent with surplus field use and does not detract from the display of the item.
