Original U.S. military canteen set featuring a WWI-era aluminum canteen paired with WWII-issued field gear. This is a classic mixed-era setup commonly seen in WWII service, where earlier canteens were reissued with updated covers and accessories.
 
The canteen is a 1918-dated M1910 aluminum example manufactured by T.J.W.B.M. Co. It retains its original screw cap and shows typical service wear including scratches, oxidation, and minor dents consistent with age.
 
Included is a 1942-dated khaki canvas canteen cover manufactured by S.F. Co., complete with wool felt insulation. The cover shows honest field use with staining and wear. One of the snap fasteners is missing, but the cover remains intact and displays well.
 
Also included is a 1943-dated U.S. canteen cup manufactured by Foley MFG. Co. The cup features a folding handle and shows surface wear and patina from use. The initials “E.F.” are etched into the bottom, likely a period field marking.
 
The set is completed with a U.S. web belt featuring a star buckle. All components are correct to the WWII era and make for an excellent display or reenactment setup.
