This is an original, authentic U.S. Air Force MA-1 Flight Jacket, issued under contract AF/601-287-1467 and manufactured in the United States. The MA-1 was the standard-issue intermediate-weight flight jacket for USAF pilots and aircrew from the 1950s through the 1980s, designed for cold-weather use in non-combat flight environments.
 
Made from 100% nylon with polyester fiberfill insulation, this jacket features a classic sage green outer shell and a high-visibility orange lining for emergency signaling. It includes two snap-closure hand pockets, a utility pocket on the sleeve, and knit cuffs, waistband, and collar.
 
This particular jacket is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of wear. The only blemish is a faint sharpie mark on the back panel (see photo). It's otherwise clean, crisp, and intact—perfect for collectors, reenactors, or daily wear.
