Russian Early Post-Soviet Issue VSR-93 “Barvikha” Camo Field Pants
Original Russian camouflage field pants in the early post-Soviet VSR-93 / Barvikha-style pattern, sometimes referred to by collectors as “Vertikalka” due to its vertical woodland-like shapes. This pattern predates the more widely recognized late-1990s Russian Flora pattern and represents the transitional period of Russian military clothing after the Soviet era. These pants feature a rugged field-trouser construction with a button fly, adjustable side waist tabs, belt loops, slanted hand pockets, thigh cargo pockets, ankle drawstrings, and under-boot stirrup straps. The interior is stamped 48-4, indicating Russian size 48 with height group 4. Comparable Russian surplus sizing references list 48-4 around a small/medium build and roughly 176 cm height range.A great collector piece for Russian/post-Soviet militaria, early 1990s camo collectors, airsoft/RUSFOR kits, or vintage field wear. These show honest surplus wear, fading, and age-related signs throughout, but retain strong color and all the key field features.
