The MALICE Pack (Modified ALICE) is Tactical Tailor’s enhanced redesign of the classic U.S. military large ALICE pack. Built to modern standards while preserving the time-tested layout of its predecessor, the MALICE Pack is constructed from heavy-duty 1000D Cordura nylon with reinforced stress points throughout. It was developed in direct response to field feedback from service members needing a more rugged, accessible, and modular rucksack system.
 
Version 2 of the pack includes several key upgrades over the original ALICE:
The top flap’s hook-and-loop opening has been replaced with a durable zipper.
An 8" x 12" x 4" Claymore-style pocket is built into the lid for extra storage.
The original metal snaps have been replaced with Fastex quick-release buckles for faster access.
A reinforced carry handle and storm flap improve handling and weather resistance.
All compartments feature drainage grommets.
 
This particular pack is finished in OD Green and comes complete with a black frame and shoulder straps. The pack is very lightly used and in excellent condition, with only a faint Sharpie name marking on the top lid—barely visible and purely cosmetic. There is no fraying, no fading, and all buckles, zippers, and straps are fully functional. A superb example of Tactical Tailor’s renowned craftsmanship.
