Original German Bundeswehr Nässeschutzparka manufactured by Wahler under an LHBw military contract in 2009. This is the genuine military wet-weather shell, not a commercial reproduction, finished in the Bundeswehr’s distinctive five-color Flecktarn camouflage with German flag insignia on both sleeves.
 
The parka is constructed from a waterproof, windproof and breathable three-layer laminate consisting of 67% polyamide, 18% polyester and a 15% PTFE membrane. Its layered construction combines a durable camouflage exterior, waterproof membrane and protective inner backing into a single lightweight shell. Interior seams are sealed to help prevent water from entering through the stitching.
Designed to be worn over a field uniform or insulating layers, the parka has a roomy military cut and extended length for additional coverage. The attached hood can be tightened around the face, while the tall collar and full-length storm flap provide added protection during heavy rain and wind. Additional features include two snap-closure cargo pockets, adjustable cuffs, a drawcord hem and original hook-and-loop panels for a name tape and rank insignia.
 
A practical piece of modern German military equipment suitable for collecting, hiking, hunting, camping or everyday wet-weather use. This example remains in good used surplus condition with only light signs of previous service and storage.
